DeMiu can provide
the three C- Comfort, Caring, and Caution. Our therapists are trained to perform a complete safety evaluation of the home and all equipment and to make recommendations for equipment upgrades and repairs as needed. They will then train patient and caregiver extensively to ensure that both are capable of safety using all equipment to maximize function and limit the risk of injury. Further, therapists can assess all current equipment for appropriate fit and safety and make minor modifications when indicated. If necessary, a medical social worker can be consulted to look for additional resources for equipment and funds if shortcomings are found.
